Add vinegar or lemon juice to non-dairy milk and set aside to sour
Mix dry ingredients well using a fork or a whisk
Mix in vegan butter to dry ingredients, using your hands or two knives. Mix until there are no big pieces of butter left, but don’t overmix.
Add your wet ingredients to dry, and mix using a wooden spoon until just combined. Place on a floured board or counter and knead very very lightly 4 times.
Pat flat into a rectangle and slice into 9 biscuits. Sprinkle the top with sugar if using
Transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper or lightly greased. Keep the biscuits touching each other so they will rise up light and flaky.
Bake for 12 mins. Enjoy hot!!
