I am a Registered Dietitian with a PhD in nutrition, and over 15 years of experience with changing lives through better nutrition. Along with my private practice in Kensington Market, Toronto, I lecture in nutrition at Ryerson University. In the past year I’ve been featured on the Food Heals podcast and on the No Meat Athlete podcast and blog. I’ve also spoken at the Plant-based prevention of disease conference and the International Congress of Dietetics in Granada, Spain. I love to spread the message of plant-based positivity.

I’m an avid traveler and I’ve visited over 50 countries. I have also worked as a Dietitian in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia for organizations such as Unicef and the World Food program. I have broad and diverse experience as I have worked in research and teaching as well as public health and clinical practice. I am fascinated by nutrition and I love bringing wellness and fitness into my own life. I eat a whole foods, plant-based diet and I love to cook and bake with my four children, teaching them about food and nutrition through shopping for and preparing colourful, healthy family meals together. Fitness brings joy to my life; I am a runner and speed walker and I’ve completed five half marathons, one marathon, two ultramarathons and one self-styled Ironman. I believe in the power of activity to help improve our mental and physical health.
